Just a little rant

Hiya all,

Now I thought I would have a little rant here. Yesterday morning we had a knock on our front door, my boyfriend went to answer it and a guy started to ask him if he wanted to join in going to church etc. my boyfriend said politely 'nothankyou' because non of us are religious at all which to me is fair enough. He then started shouting at him 'you don't beleive in GOD??' so eventually my boyfriend had to shut the door in his face.

We thought that was bad enough but we went out a few hours later and while waiting for the bus, the guy came again pestering us! I hate the fact that they try to put religion on others that don't want it.

I have nothing against religious people at all but doing that is just out of order and because of that they deserve this .

I hate people like that too, if a person is not interested, don't be all pushy with it. Do they really think pestering people is going to help them at all? I just mess with people like that, tell them I pray to the sun god and live by the teachings of his son, the human torch.

I like that, I'm going to have to use that one. I usually just ask them what they think Jesus would do if someone was trying to convert him? That usually gets a reaction from them. Or tell them that you personally communicate with god and he says you don't have to listen to them.

Sometimes I just don't answer the door if I know it's someone trying to push their religion on me. That or if I answer and say I'm not interested, but they keep talking, I just close the door in their face and walk away.
