News not giving enough important info

I have recently noticed that many news shows an sites like to report on stories but not really give some of the most important information relating to that story.


A good example is with this big conficker virus thing everyone is talking about. They make it sound basically like the end of the computer world is coming, talk endlessly about what it might or might not do and even mention that Microsoft is offering a $250,000 reward for info leading to the person or people responsible for conficker.

But in almost every story I saw or heard until today, nobody made any mention of the fact that several companies like Symantic and Microsoft had readily available removal programs on their websites.

Why the hell would you go causing panic, when there really is no problem, or the problem can easily be fixed? If you're not going to report the whole story, then just shut up your fucking mouth or do what you do the best, talk about nothing!

I never completely trust anything I hear on the news or read about. I always go and check a second and usually a third source, that way you get more of the story and most likely, more of the truth.

Yeah, the media will reports any damn rumor they hear these days and state it as fact. Then they change the story the next day and act as if they didn't just bullshit you the day before. They just want to be the first to break a story, so you get a rushed story that is either lies or just a small part of the truth.
